Chemistry of Life
Britz Group traces its root to the early 90’s. We started with plantations and ventured into oleochemicals distribution in the late 90’s. In 2003, Britz was born to cater for the rapidly expanding business in oleochemicals trading and distribution. Today, we create, formulate and distribute various base and functional chemicals for our focus markets: oleochemicals, waxes, oils & fats and animal nutritions – with an advocacy for sustainable living, technical excellence, reliability and innovation in the products we create.
Headquartered in Malaysia, Britz’s locality and its proximity to major sources of raw materials allow it to operate an efficient supply chain, with a global network of suppliers and customers in over 50 countries. Our production facilities in Malaysia and Indonesia give us the capacity to tailor our products and services according to the needs of our partners and customers, such as customised formulations and other value-added services, which are keys in our overall value creation.
Our Businesses
Oleochemicals
Oleochemicals distribution remains our core business. We offer a whole range of products including distilled and fractionated fatty acids, fatty alcohols, methyl esters, fatty esters, crude and refined glycerines. We are also able to offer custom blends to meet specific the requirements of specific applications. We have been delivering oleochemicals to our customers reliably all over the world for more than 20 years.
Animal Nutrition
We produce and distribute PolyFAT® nutritional supplements. PolyFAT® nutritional supplements are the ultimate energy solutions for animals. PolyFAT® series of energy boosters enhance caloric intake, improve the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins and boost the productivity of cattle, swine and poultry. Our products help to improve the well-being and performance of your animals and make your life easier.
Wax
We offer various kinds of waxes – palm wax and others – for candle-making, and for applications in hot melt adhesives and plastics. We produce and supply our palm waxes from our facilities in Malaysia and Indonesia. Our facilities and access to materials enable us to work with our customers to codevelop customised formulations to meet specific technical requirements of different production processes and product types.Our Milestones
1992Integrated Fortune
Integrated Fortune S/B was established. The company's primary business was plam and rubber plantations management at this time.
1998Oleochemicals Venture
Our first venture into oleochemicals happened in 1998 when the company was granted sole distributorship for one of the largest oleochemical producers then.
1999Polyfunction
A subsidiary, Xiamen Polyfunction Import & Export Co., Ltd., was set up in Xiamen, China to serve our largest export market.
2003Britz Networks
The name Britz first appeared in 2003 as Britz Networks Sdn. Bhd. was established to cater for the expanding business of oleochemicals trading and distribution.
2007Natural Wax
Natural Wax Sdn. Bhd., a joint venture with Natural Oleochemicals Sdn. Bhd. was formed as a specialised facility to produce palm waxes.
2014Factory in Indonesia
A joint venture was set up with a local partner in North Sumatera, Indonesia. This facility produces animal energy supplements and palm waxes.
2016Britz YD
We marked our entrance into the India market by setting up Britz YD Pvt. Ltd. in Chennai, India.
2016Britz Holdings
A public company, Britz Holdings Berhad, was formed to facilitate our expansion and business plans.
2018Factory in Malaysia
Our first wholly owned factory was commissioned in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia.
